Buckeyes land four-star RB

The big visit weekend for Ohio State is starting to pay dividends. There was uncertainty as to whether or not any of the host of elite prospects that were in Columbus this weekend would pull the trigger for Ohio State. On Sunday afternoon that question was answered when St. Louis (Mo.) DeSmet running back Ezekiel Elliott became the sixth member of Ohio State's class of 2013 recruiting class. The 6-foot, 200-pound four-star prospect pulled the trigger shortly after his weekend trip to Columbus.

Elliott accounted for more than 40 total touchdowns as a junior, rushing for 1,802 yards and adding 401 yards receiving. His ability to both run the ball and make plays catching the ball out of the backfield makes him an ideal fit for the spread offense that Urban Meyer is installing at Ohio State.
