Virginia lineman has ties, plans WVU visit

Liberty Christian Academy (Lynchburg, Va.) offensive tackle Braxton Pfaff has a family history with West Virginia after his uncle Martin suited up at running back for the Mountaineers. And the 6-foot-5, 290-pounder will be making his way to Morgantown Thursday to check out spring practice.

Pfaff previously had offers from Virginia, Virginia Tech and Liberty, but most recently picked up an offer from the Mountaineers around a week ago after talking with offensive line coach Bill Bedenbaugh.

"He's a really great guy and he told me that they wanted me there," he said. "I was extremely excited because I've always kind of been a fan of West Virginia. I'm really interested in West Virginia."
