Every year, Virginia Tech gets a home Thursday night contest. It is a big deal in Blacksburg and always creates a terrific atmosphere. This week is that Thursday night game, with the Hokies (5-2, 3-1) squaring off against Butch Davis and North Carolina (4-3, 0-3). The Heels have not beaten the Hokies since the 1998 Gator Bowl that ended in a 42-3 loss for the Hokies. Let us prepare for this game with our weekly position-by-position analysis.
