SAN ANTONIO-Northwestern played valiantly in its 30-23 loss to heavily favored Missouri at the Alamo Bowl, but that did little to alleviate the empty feeling that NU's seniors had in their stomachs. The three seniors at the post-game press conference knew that this game was theirs for the taking and they were denied their last hurrah.
