Several prospects were probably impressed with the outcome of the ACC Championship last Saturday afternoon. The Deacs are definitely opening some eyes after the big win. One player that has been impressed with Jim Grobe and his team all year is future Demon Deacon John Stamper. The West Forsyth athlete has been Wake's biggest fan since his commitment.

Stamper entered his senior season for West Forsyth (NC) knowing exactly where he would spend his future. The 5-foot-11, 185-pound prospect committed to Wake Forest long before the season but he kept his focus on giving all he had to his coaches at West Forsyth for one more go round. Stamper, along with future Wake linebacker and 2007 commit Kyle Jarrett, helped lead their school two rounds into the playoffs before suffering a loss to Independence.
