On November 18, 2008, it looked as if Xavier Henry and the University of Kansas had parted ways. Decked out in a suit and tie, Henry announced his intentions to play for John Calipari and Memphis. Recovering from a car wreck, Henry thought it was best to keep his family together. However, an unexpected coaching change opened the door for Xavier to attend the school he grew up rooting for. Jayhawk Slant sat down with Henry during media day and listened as he provided a detailed recap of the last year.
